In 1965, the mission was run for the first time but it was unsuccessful – Venus was missed. Soon after, one more attempt followed, but the connection with the craft was lost due to overheating.

Oh, 1966 was a year of some good music! It was the time when one of the greatest songs ever was released. Strangers in the Night played on radios all around the globe back then and people just loved it!
And critics loved it as well. It won even three Grammy Awards – for Record of the Year, for Best Male Pop Vocal Performance, and for Best Arrangement Accompanying a Vocalist or Instrumentalist too.
Originally, the song was used under the title Beddy Bye for the movie A Man Could Get Killed. But after Sinatra sang it himself, it immediately reached number 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 list, and the whole album of the same name became commercially the most successful album Sinatra ever recorded.
